Life is boring

Dad told me to write a blog post about something that happened today. Except NOTHING happened today. It was just the same old day, like all the other days. Except I broke the tail off the whale eraser Ryan gave me and it makes me crabby.

Mom says I should write about what I WISH would happen. I wish I could get a 1 person pass to Disney World. How much is a plane ticket? Okay, I guess Dad and Mom and Jack can come with me. I have never been on a plane before. I don't know if I want to go on a plane. It might be scary.

Mom has a friend who is going to the Amazon in Brazil. That sounds really scary. Can you get attacked by tigers in Brazil?

Maybe I could get locked in Target overnight. I could play with all the toys. I could play with the iPods,  and the video game consoles. I could play with an Xbox 360. If I got hungry overnight at Target I could go to the food aisle. I could eat Reese's peanut butter cups and drink Capri Suns. I could look at all the books in Target. That would be cool! They have all the Big Nate books!

Or if I get locked in Gamestop til 11:00 at night, I could take some games I want willy nilly and just find a way out. That would be quite an adventure. Unless I know their ventilation system and have some tools to bring along. The tools I need are listed below

1. A flashlight
2. A screwdriver
3. A ladder
4. Snacks
5. Capri Sun (just one packet)
6. A bag.

What if I found some old film reels like "Fantasia" "Aladdin and the King of Thieves"? The batch.
Maybe I'd find some loot hidden under the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland.

Here's a golden rule: always follow your conscience's advice from your heart. Unless, your conscience is a talking cricket.

My Weekend with Dwight

Friday I got to take home the new hamster Dwight. Me and Mom tried to put him into his ball but Mom was scared of his scrabbly little paws. Fortunetly, Dad was brave enough to hold Dwight. Once he got home, Dwight was able to play in his ball and in his playpen, but the problem was the lid of his ball kept popping off and he tried to escape. He escaped one time and ran around under the kitchen table. While he was in his playpen, we fed him carrots and one treat. He ate them, and then pooped a lot. Mom dumped the poop out the door into the backyard.

Last night, Dwight was playing in his playpen and he climbed up the bars and got over the wall! Dad yelled "jailbreak" and mom made us put him back in his cage. This morning, mom told me she got up in the middle of the night to make sure he didn't escape.

I had fun with Dwight, but I was kind of glad to bring him back to school. My dad kept calling Dwight buddy and I didn't like that becuse dad calls me buddy.

New Name for the New Chuck

Our class pet, Chuck died the other day. This made me feel very sad because I was going to take him home this weekend.

But on the bright side, I get to take home the new Chuck! New Chuck has the same fur-length as Ms. Shapiro's class pet, Bucky, and his fur color is the same as Old Chuck.  He is very cute.

We had a class vote for the name of the new hamster.  "Big Mac" won the vote by ONE vote. I didn't vote for Big Mac. I still like Jay! Everybody got upset, so now Ms Marcheschi has to name him. I didn't get upset because I am okay with Big Mac. My mom still likes Tubman for a name. Jack says his name should be "Ham Solo." I think that sounds kind of weird, but that might be because Jack is weird.

Los Angeles

My dad is in Los Angeles for a week. He is working. I had read this article in the paper last week:

and for some reason, I thought the 600 foot tall statue of Homer Simpson was REAL!  But it is not real. Matt Groening only wishes there was a 600 foot tall statue of Homer Simpson that would laugh at midnight.

So my dad can't take a picture of the statue for me, because it doesn't exist.

As Homer would say, "d'oh!"

Sora: Heartless.

???: Hey you with Keyblade. Over here.
Donald:  He knows about the Keyblade?
Sora: Maybe those three Keybladers must've met him before.
???: That looks like Keyblades those kids have.

Nook

I got my first Nook at Barnes and Noble. I was really excited. The first thing I bought was Angry Birds and it said I had to connect to the bookstore to earn the Mighty Eagle. It was hard but I want to do it. And the second thing I bought was "Who was Walt Disney?" If anyone has it on THEIR Nook. Please comment.
When I showed it to Dad, he said it was the last thing I'm buying without his permission. Wow, deep.

Nook Fire!

I wish I ahve a Nook Color or a Kindle Fire. My friends Ryan G and Shannon have those devices. Ryan got the Nook for Christmas this past year and I don't know how Shannon got her Kindle Fire. But I wanted a Nintendo 3DS for Easter and the Nook for my birthday. But Mom said it should the other way around and I agree. My first 3DS game will be Kingdom Hearts. And my first Nook game and book will be Big Nate goes for broke and Angry Birds HD.

Today

Today was Mrs. Grossman's birthday. But after my mom picked me up, I forgot my gloves so I ran back and Mom said "I'm going to..." I didn't hear her because of my footsteps. But when I came back, she was gone. I thought I was lost. I searched the entire school for her but found Ms. McMahon. She called called for Mom over the PA system. She said "Will Mrs. Mayer please come to the main office, Andy is here." When my mom came to me, I had some fun with the PA when she was talking to Ms. McMahon. I said "Is there an Al in the building? Al. Last name, Caholic?" She was so surprised and shocked. Mom says I can watch baby shows from now on; she's joking.

Snail Bob 2

I discovered this great game called Snail Bob 2 and it was awesome! I may have died a couple of times, but I'll complete it. But if you look very closely at the picture hanging on Bob's wall in the intro, you can see Gary the Snail from Spongebob Squarepants. It's on Cool Math Games. Here's the link.
